Colombian nickel-iron alloy exports have increased significantly

Recently, the statistics of Colombia's National Statistics Department showed that the fastest-growing products in the export trade of Geoneng in January and February of 2018 were nickel-iron alloy, emerald, iron, steel and coal.
Among them, nickel-iron alloy exports increased from US$15 million in the same period of 2017 to US$43 million, an increase of 182%.
The amount of Emerald exports reached US$32 million, a year-on-year increase of 74%.
The most significant decline was in gold exports. Exports decreased by 37.9% year-on-year to US$186 million, while exports decreased by 41.6% to 6 tons.
