Vietnam Steel Association advises the government to refuse to invest in cold rolling projects in Vietnam

It is reported that Zhejiang Qianjin Stainless Steel Group Co., Ltd. plans to build a stainless steel cold rolling mill in Dongnai province in southern Vietnam, but the Vietnam Iron and Steel Association recommended that the government and related units refuse the investment.
The Vietnam Iron and Steel Association claims that investments in hot rolled coils, cold rolled steel, construction steel, cold rolled stainless steel, coated steel pipes and galvanized steel are not needed because of oversupply, and it is recommended that the government encourage steel mills to not produce in Vietnam. Investment in high quality alloy steel for the machinery, shipbuilding and automotive industries.
